Moonroot
Moonroot is a group for people integrating non-ordinary states of mind
Moonroot is a group for people for whom the non-ordinary has long been familiar — and who have had nowhere to bring it.
This is a contemplative space rooted in Mystical Buddhism, where the ancestral, the spirit world, and the natural world are recognized as real. Somatic and trauma-aware practices create ground for what has opened. For that which has been directly experienced and cannot be known by the ordinary mind, the Buddhist teachings on non-self and emptiness offer medicine.
Attachment wounds, the isolation of being differently abled, racial and ethnic trauma, and gender and sex-based harm — all may find spaciousness to loosen and be mourned.
Boundaries are reclaimed.
Here, integration, not the trip, is the work.
